Yesterday I went into town to meet a friend for lunch, but before heading over to the bar we popped into H&M to spend our £5 vouchers, (£5 is £5!) I think I mentioned before that I have a wedding coming up in June, my Auntie is getting married and I'm excited for three reasons:

1. I haven't been to a wedding since I was 11-years-old and this time I'm going to be able to choose what I wear;)

2. I'm the photographer for the day!

3. It's GOLD themed!

I've already bought myself a green Zara dress with a drop back and so I decided to buy gold accessories to wear it with. I don't really 'do' jewellery so because it's a wedding I felt like a change. I really liked this chunky hexagonal bracelet, (as shown above), because I think the chunkier the jewellery the daintier the person wearing it! It was £6.99.

I also chose an interesting oversize choker style necklace, all the jewellery in H&M is very Cleopatra at the moment. I was very drawn to the metal collars they're doing, I'm sure you've all seen them by now, but unfortunately they only had them in silver!

Does anyone else have any weddings to look forward to? What will you be wearing?

  1. I'm impressed with your gold jewelry pieces. I'm sure you'll make it big in the fashion industry once you graduate because you have a distinct sense of style. Congratulations!
